Love is infinite,
It can’t supersede itself;
all encompassing

Silence Must Break the Dawn (Acrostic)
Some shores are best unkempt
Intricate glass carvings and glass
light up my kaleidoscope eyes
Enchanting colors that capture
Nature’s hushed rapture
Cathedrals within seashells
Enrapture my imaginary castle
with
Musical crescendos
Ushering in the waves
Striking the silence of
The morning empire
whose
Breaths quiver in the cold
Rioting storm’s wake
Entrenching upon the shore
Altercations beg thy leave
Kindness, a drought I do bereave
where
Thoughtless voices become
Hearts and symphonies that
Erupt in laughter and forgiveness
breaking the
Darkness’ final shadows
Announcing that love truly conquers
Weaving sunlight, radiating through
Newly birthed skies.

Dandelion Seedlings (Acrostic + Balassi Stanza)
Draw your bow and arrow
As the way is narrow
Now I beg thee awaken
Don’t leave us alone
Endless crimes to atone
Let us not be mistaken
In the new days of hope
Over slippery slope
Not to leave us forsaken
Sunrise a breath away
Enough, is it to say?
Endless nights, yet you abide
Dreary eons, you stand
Lightning at your command
Ignite the fire inside
Notch arrows in your bow
Gracing the sky, aglow
Starry home above, our guide
~
The brave and mighty Sagittarius constellation. Both dandelions and the Sagittarius sign are symbols of hope.
Balassi Stanza

Birds (Acrostic)
Bravery – how could I not know it had a tune
It had a tune like lovely flutes
Resounding, filling every forgotten crevice within
Dancing and swaying as free as the wind, whose
Song broke and renewed my heart with each note
—
To be brave and free like birds.
